The wetland is situated at east of hilltop of Shihlinger Mountain.

Introduction
The wetland is formed by both main- and sub-lakes. The main lake, with plenty of water in summer rainy season, often loses water at lower southwest corner and water leaks from sub-lake as well.

Ecological resources of importance
Animal species including Formosan White-faced Squirrel, Bamboo Chicken, and plant species including Melastoma candidum, Lagerstroemia subcostata and Meliosma rhoifolia can be seen in the wetland.

Deinagkistrodon acutus.
